It then turn to bacon, and rich notes of bitter orange jam. Vanilla and peat reach the palate as well. The bouquet is extremely elegant.
long persistence. Spices (black pepper), peat, vanilla and smoke.
The peat is always under control and allows you to fully appreciate the remaining flavor profile. A whisky that is interesting to the nose, structured and intense on the palate, satisfying and very persistent in the finish. It needs the right moment to be appreciated to the fullest.
