Founded in 2008 in Chicago, Koval immediately stood out for its extreme attention to the territory. The grains used for distillation come from organic farms in the Midwest. The distillation method involves a very strict selection of the heart alone to eliminate any possible type of defect that may be present in the head and tail. The small 30-gallon barrels are custom made and roasted by a manufacturer in Minnesota. The average aging is around two years for exclusively single barrel bottling without filtration and addition of dyes. <br><br> Millet Whiskey is perhaps Koval's most original product. The use of millet as the exclusive cereal of a core-range distillate is in fact practically unique. Alcohol content of 40%.
