In the glass, one can perceive intense aromas of ripe fruit, with black cherry, mango, peach, and raisins. Pecan nuts are also present, along with dark chocolate and hints of marzipan. On the palate it is viscous, with rich notes of ripe and tropical fruit, where dates and mango stand out. Then we have dark chocolate enriched with quinine hints. The finish is very long, with notes of dark chocolate and earth.
96Among the rums tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
