The oldest vintage in the Terravera Collection, the Trinidad 2003 represents the peak of this journey, showcasing the dedication behind 19 years of tropical and 3 years of continental maturation.
The nose opens with orange marmalade, light tobacco, sandalwood, and dried tropical fruit, supported by a soft mineral warmth. On the palate, it blends stewed fruits, vanilla pod, nutmeg, and a touch of leather with deeply layered oak structure. The finish is long, offering citrus peel, baking spice, and lingering woody depth. Mature and quietly sophisticated, it’s a truly refined vintage expressing.
98Among the whiskies tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
