It is an agricultural rum distilled in 2006. The bottling occurred on February 24, 2023, without reduction or addition.
It boasts intense scents, with honey, wood, ripe fruits, vanilla pod, licorice, pecans, cumquat, some vegetal hints, and sugar cane. The palate plays out a wonderful mouthfeel of visou and vibrant herbs that dovetail on the rich nose: rosemary, and thyme dance together with chocolate, licorice, and tobacco. The finish is long with noble wood, leather, orange zest, and spices. A touch of cinnamon. Balanced and deep, with an amazingly harmonious flavor profile.
94Among the rums tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
