Minneapolis-based Brother Justus has been producing American single malt whiskey since 2014. Their Founder’s Reserve series showcases Minnesota’s natural resources, using 100% Minnesota pale ale malt, Mississippi River water, and white oak barrels. The third release is aged for 3 years in 30-gallon barrels and 1 year in 5-gallon barrels.
Bottled at 62.5% ABV, it has an SRP of $130 and is available in limited quantities online, at the distillery, and soon in retail stores across Minnesota.
