Bulleit 12 yo Rye

The Bulleit 12 yo Rye is the second 12-year-old rye whiskey release from the brand after a five-year hiatus.

The “95” on the label refers to the 95% rye in the mash bill recipe, which is the same as the brand’s flagship rye whiskey bottling. Although this release is aged for at least 12 years, the 2024 edition contains barrels in the blend that are aged up to 17 years.

Bulleit master blender Andrew MacKay added: “This Bulleit Rye 12-Year-Old release remains true to the rye whiskies we’ve crafted before. The rye spicy character shines through the age of the whiskies and balances with those mature, elevated, and well-rounded flavors that originate from hand-selected barrels up to 17 years old. I do think it is best enjoyed neat or possibly with a single ice cube – which opens up some fruity character.”

It is bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV), and it is already available, with a suggested retail price of $54.99.
