Chattanooga Whiskey’s third annual Vault Series revisits three barrel finishes from its Experimental Single Batch Series: apricot brandy, extra añejo tequila, and sauternes. The single-barrel whiskeys have been finished for an extended 4 to 5 years using Chattanooga’s Barrel 91 high-malt bourbon mashbill.
The apricot brandy-finished bourbon (7 years old) spent 5 years in Turkish barrels, while the extra añejo-finished bourbon (also 7 years old) was aged for 5 years in tequila barrels. The sauternes-finished bourbon, also 7 years old, matured for 4 years in French dessert wine casks. The proofs range from 61.6% ABV to 132.0 66% ABV.
Fewer than 800 bottles of the 2025 Vault Series will be available for purchase at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery in Tennessee. Retail price is $47 per 375 ml bottle.
