Chattanooga Whiskey has released the first vintage-dated blend of the year in its Bottled in Bond Vintage Release Series. This seasonally focused expression is crafted under the Bottled in Bond Act and introduces a new experimental mashbill to the lineup. Bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof), the release is priced at $53.
The 2025 blend features a trio of mashbills, including a newcomer—SB078—which accounts for 20% of the blend. Named after the 78th barrel filled at the Experimental Distillery, SB078 showcases Chattanooga’s signature high-malt approach, incorporating unique malts such as Belgian chocolate, double-roasted caramel, and cherrywood-smoked barley. The remaining composition includes a 50% wheated mashbill and a 30% recipe made with yellow corn and honey malted barley—the same base used in their flagship 111 and 91 expressions.
The whiskey was aged in two batches using a total of 10 toasted and charred barrels and was distilled entirely at Chattanooga’s own facilities: the Riverfront Distillery and the Experimental Distillery. It is now available in the distillery and in select states.
