Bardstown’s Chicken Cock Whiskey is elevating its Double Oak expression with a new 10-year-old release, aged two years longer than the original. This updated version follows a unique aging process: first matured in used bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin charred American white oak to enhance its rich, oaky profile.
Bottled at 46% ABV, the whiskey is classified as an American whiskey and is now available nationwide. Even better for fans of the brand, the suggested retail price (SRP) is $80, making it $20 less than the original Double Oak release, which previously sold for $100.
