Magisterium is the 16th release in Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Selection, which features rare limited bottlings. This particular release is a blend of three 16-year-old rums, each distilled at Foursquare using both double-retort pot still and continuous twin column still methods.
One of the rums was aged entirely in ex-bourbon barrels for 16 years, while the other two were double-matured in both ex-bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks.
Bottled at 59 ABV (118 proof), Magisterium contains no added sugar, color, filtration, or flavor additives. It is now available in the US and online at a suggested retail price of $159.99.
