Spirited Seas is an ocean-aged rum produced by Goslings. This rum is a blend of aged dark Bermudan rum that has been placed into American oak barrels previously used for bourbon.
These barrels were then loaded onto the Oleander, a container ship that makes weekly trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Bermuda to New Jersey.
The rum aged for over 40 weeks while traveling nearly 60,000 miles. Volume II of this release features a higher percentage of older rums in the blend compared to Volume I. It is now available at a suggested retail price of $59.99.
