Hampden Estate reveals new Hampden 1753

Hampden Estate, one of the oldest distilleries in the world, introduces Hampden 1753, named after its founding year.

Located in Jamaica’s Trelawny region, this rum embodies centuries of artisanal tradition. It is made using pure water from a nearby spring, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, and prolonged distillation in vintage copper stills. Aged for 3 years in ex-Bourbon barrels, Hampden 1753 has an ABV of 46% (92 proof) and contains no added sugars or colorants.

This release joins the distillery’s main range, including the 8-year-old and HCLF Classic Overproof.
