Islay’s Kilchoman distillery is launching Loch Gruinart single malt, a budget-friendly alternative to its Machir Bay expression.
Named after a local nature reserve, Loch Gruinart consists of 4–6 year old peated single malts aged in approximately 90% bourbon barrels and 10% European oak sherry casks.
Bottled at 46% ABV, it will be priced at $55, with around 1,800 bottles available in the initial release starting in early October.
