Macallan’s new 18-year-old single malt celebrates James Bond, inspired by the 1971 film “Diamonds Are Forever.” Whisky maker Russell Greig aged this release (distilled in 2007) in first-fill American oak casks that previously held red wine, marking Macallan’s first use of red wine casks for maturation.
This single malt is bottled at 45.5% ABV and has a suggested retail price of $750. It will be available starting March 2026, exclusively at themacallan.com and the distillery. This follows Macallan’s previous Bond collaborations, including the 60th Anniversary Release in 2022 and a Bond-themed experience at Harrods in 2023.
