Redemption Whiskey has released their latest addition in the brand’s Specialty Series, called Redemption Cognac Cask Finish. For this limited-edition, Redemption collaborated with Ferrand Cognac to finish its High Rye Bourbon in cognac casks. The High Rye Bourbon was originally matured in new American white oak barrels for an undisclosed amount of time, then transferred for a 12 month aging in the cognac casks. Some of the cognac casks used for this finishing were more than 30 years old.
The limited edition Redemption Cognac Cask Finish has an MSRP of $69.99 per 750-ml size bottle. The Cognac Cask Finish is now available nationwide, but only while supplies.
