Castarède is a French company that produces Armagnac since 1832, thus resulting in the oldest company. Nowadays, it is still family-owned. The Vs is the basic product, with no age declared on the label but with at least 3 years of aging in black oak barrels.

The Castarède VS is a product that slightly evolves with time. To the palate it is initially undertone but it behaves well on the "long distance". The finish is not particularly intense, emphasizing the youth of the product.
