The Don Q Gran Reserva Añejo XO, is a Puerto Rican ron aged between 9 and 12 years in virgin American oak barrels and containing in the blend rums aged up to 50 with the solera method. It belongs to the "Serrallés Collection" and is currently the most refined product among those offered by the brand.
The nose is marked by wood spices, rich in cinnamon and cloves, then cooked apples, orange with honey, and toasted dried fruit.
In the mouth it is soft and round, dominated by sweet hints and a light bittering background of toasted hazelnuts.
The finish is medium with touches of white pepper, echoes of orange peel, and honey sweetness.
