The Frédéric Mestreau XO No.28 is aged for over 10 years in oak barrels, coming from the French Limousin forest. This cognac is produced with a blend of Ugni Blanc, made of Petite and Grande Champagne. The Frédéric Mestreau estate was founded in 1808, the production of Cognac continued until 1919, when the First World War significantly reduced the demand for cognac and the consequence was the stop of production. Recently, the brand was brought back to life.
Intense cocoa notes, ripe fruits and raisins. After a while, coffee beans. The last aroma perceptible is a hint of hazelnut.
