TASTING NOTES – ICHIRO’S MALT MIZUNARA WOOD RESERVE

Nose

Fresh. Scents of aged wood and nuts, among which the hazelnut stands out. Then a suave note of red fruits is released. Balsamic herbs.

Palate

Round and warm. White pepper, seasoned wood and a fruity component, which gradually becomes more present. Balsamic nuances. Hints of cocoa.

Finish

Medium-long persistence. Balsamic and wood spices.

Overall, the Ichiro’s malt Mizunara Wood Reserve is a harmonious and well balanced Japanese whiskey. It performs better to the palate and it has a decent finish.
