Kavalan’s Solist range established itself as one of the bravest and more interesting experiments on the market with its unconventional cask maturations and single cask strength bottlings. Every bottle is numbered and marks the cask code with the signature of the Master Blender. In this case, we have precious Spanish Fino sherry casks. Bottled at 57,8% ABV.
A riot of ripe fruit and honey aromas are enriched by a mix of exotic fruit. After a little time, a touch of coconut completes the flavor profile to the nose.
Rich ripe fruit and exotic fruit notes are confirmed, as well as the honey, Also the coconut is still present, flanked now by white pepper and caramel.
Long persistence. There are spicy notes, together with cocoa, honey, and orange zest.
Overall, the Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry delivers a rich and complex flavor profile. The persistence is very long and flavors are deep. Powerful but at the same time magistrally balanced.
