Koval Rye is the standard, 40% ABV, 100% organic rye release from the Chicago distillery. The product also obtained the kosher certification.
Very mellow rye, with vanilla sweetness, light honey and a touch of creme brulee. The light varnish note takes just a moment to dissolve. Simple, yet nice and silky compared to many 100% rye products.
The honey component is central, with a touch of tangerine and again nice vanilla. A distant salted caramel is probably the best aspect.
