Maxime Trijol VSOP

The Maxime Trijol VSOP is a cognac, made by the family that represents one of the largest distillers in Cognac. This is the VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) Grande Champagne version, which means that it is aged for at least 5 years. The casks are made of French oak, mainly coming from the Limousin forest. For its making, the used grapes are almost exclusively Ugni Blanc.

TASTING NOTES – MAXIME TRIJOL VSOP GRANDE CHAMPAGNE

Nose

It delivers notes of wood, nail polish and ginger, followed by caramel and white pepper. Hints of honey are also perceptible.

Palate

Oily and honeyed. It exhibits notes of wood and caramel, with a touch of candies. The base is quite sweet. Round.

Finish

Medium-long persistence. White pepper and hot spices. Wood and caramel.

Overall, the Maxime Trijol VSOP is an intense and structured cognac, equipped with a broad and complex profile. Rich and round. Considering its price point, this bottle boasts a great quality-price ratio.
