Michter's US * 1 Sour Mash Whiskey has a long history, extending well beyond 2012, when this product was refurbished and re-released as part of the US1 line. In fact, Michter's had been producing Sour Mash Whiskey long before. In the 70s and 80s, this bottling was the best-selling for the distillery.
