Neisson Profil 105 is an agricultural rum distilled in Martinique. The distillery was founded in 1931 and the master distiller is Gregory Vernant Neisson, who represents the third generation. The sugar cane to give life to rum is grown directly on site. Profil 105 is matured for 3 years in 225 liter oak barrels made up of American and French oak staves from first filling.
Perfumes of rhubarb and red fruits, where black cherry stands out, are accompanied by black pepper and cinnamon. A herbal scent then slowly emerges.
The spicy component plays a leading role and is revealed in a blast of black pepper and cinnamon, supported by notes of red fruit.
Of medium persistence. It releases red fruit and a mix of nuts, mainly hazelnut and almond.
Overall, the Neisson Profil 105 is a particular rum, with an interesting flavor profile. Despite the high alcohol content, it is particularly easy to drink.
