Nikka Takestsuru 17 years old is a Japanese whiskey. More specifically, it is a blended whiskey, whose name is a tribute to the founder of the Masataka Taketsuru brand.
A few years ago, this bottling had a lower price, but after the strong demand that Japanese whiskeys have suffered in recent years, the bottle has seen a sudden increase in price and nowadays it is almost impossible to find it at prices that are not at least double. A mix of red fruit, ripe fruit and fig jam, it is flanked by dried fruit with shell (walnut). There are also spicy notes and a very slight peaty scent.
