Talisker 10 yo is the product with the lowest declared age in the range of the distillery from Skye. It was recently accompanied by various No Age Statement, among including Storm, Dark Storm, Skye and Port Ruighe.
initially, it result slightly peated and reveals smoked and marine notes. Flavors of seaweed, honey and citrus follow. Lastly, hints of ripe fruits are perceptible, pear in particular.
peat, spices and black pepper at first, followed by aromas of caramel and grape. Sugary notes, malt and iodine, combined with hints of ripe fruits, complete the aromatic palate.
medium long persistency. It gives rise to notes of peat, wood and hints of caramel.
A good malt, equipped with an appreciable alcoholic gradation. The spices are well present in the forefront, followed by the omnipresent marine scent, that characterizes the aromatic palette.
