TASTING NOTES - THE BUSKER SINGLE POT STILL

Nose

Fresh, yet slightly alcoholic at first. There are two different and separated fruity dimensions which are fighting, one with strong cherry preserved in alcohol and the other with unripe yellow fruit, green tangerine and ginger. Spices at moments, not fully integrated. A very minor wild honey suggestion.

Palate

Not truly mellow; several components are aggressive and wild, with green spices, ginger and a not fully integrated alcohol. Spices are stimulating the salivation.

Finish

Medium, alcoholic and still quite rich in spices. The ginger component is long lasting. Not the most refined one.

The Busker Single Pot Still is an introductory product to the Irish pot still production. It is intense, with strong aromas and tastes, which are creating a no-compromises, spiced experience. From the other perspective, others pot still product are more creamy and refined. Some herbal and green spices components can be appreciated. Price is really aggressive.
