Tiffon VSOP is a Cognac aged for at least 4 years. The Tiffon estate is one of the largest family-run Cognac companies. The grapes are grown across 40 hectares of vines in the Grande Champagne and in the Fins Bois regions. The blend of this VSOP bottling is mainly from the latter.
Menthol, earth, mineral notes, some wood smoke, also some sweet raisins and new leather. It is not as sweet and fruity as most other VSOP’s. Some sharpness, little spirity.
Good arrival and decent mouthfeel. Raisins, vanilla, tobacco leaves, grass, wood spices, tannins, and quite a bit of oak, almost covering the rest of the flavor profile.
Medium. Almonds, getting very drying, tannins, wood bitterness.
Enjoable, The flavor profile is more interesting to the nose, but also to the palate this Tiffon VSOP is quite easy to apprecciate.
