SpiritsLover Magazine was founded in 2016 with the aim of covering new releases in the spirits market, with particular attention to whisky and rum.
Each year, more than 500 labels are selected and evaluated through a structured blind-tasting process. In order to ensure the highest level of objectivity and the most impartial assessments possible, the tasting panel evaluates all samples blind, without knowledge of the products being served.
A selection of these tastings is also featured in CigarsLover Magazine, the digital publication issued five times per year.
Each year, SpiritsLover Magazine also hosts the Awards, during which the editorial team selects the finest products reviewed over the preceding twelve months. Only those spirits that achieved the highest scores are shortlisted and subsequently re-evaluated through an additional blind tasting. Particular consideration is given to recent releases, while also taking into account new editions within the core ranges of established brands.
