Grant has released the final expression in its prestigious Glasshouse Collection: a 30-year-old Speyside single malt. This limited-edition whisky, priced at $3,000 (SRP), is bottled at 48% ABV and marks the oldest in the series. Aged in a combination of bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks, it follows the earlier releases of 21- and 25-year-old single malts.
The Glasshouse Collection is a tribute to the art of maturation and draws inspiration from Glen Grant founder James “The Major” Grant, a passionate explorer who returned from his travels with exotic plants and flowers, housing them in a grand Victorian-style glasshouse in Scotland.
To celebrate the collection’s completion, Glen Grant collaborated with artist Lachlan Turczan to unveil “A Day in the Glasshouse,” an immersive installation featuring three water-and-light sculptures symbolizing each whisky in the trilogy.
