The GlenAllachie Distillery has launched the third edition of its Sinteis Series: a 2014 French Virgin Oak & Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Following two successful releases, Sinteis Part III is an 11-year-old limited edition that showcases a blend of French Limousin virgin oak and Oloroso sherry casks.
The Limousin oak, valued for its wide grain, adds notes of honey, orange peel, and spice, complementing the rich dried fruit and chocolate flavors from Oloroso sherry. Master Blender Billy Walker emphasizes the unique character of the French oak, which harmonizes beautifully with sherry casks.
Bottled at 57.4% cask strength without chill filtration, Sinteis Part III fully showcases its dual-cask maturation. The elegant packaging by Scottish artist Kayley Barbour features a design inspired by French oak, accented with light red foil, and presented in a bespoke box with a wood grain texture.
Sinteis Part III is available for £75.99 starting February 26 at The GlenAllachie Distillery and online, with global availability to follow.
