Whisky Live Paris 2025 recap

The 21st edition of La Maison du Whisky’s Whisky Live Paris was held at La Grande Halle de la Villette, solidifying its status as Europe’s largest whisky and spirits tasting event. Since its launch in 2004, attendance has surged from 2,000 to 25,000 in 2025, with 15,000 whisky enthusiasts and 9,700 trade professionals attending this year.

Cocktail Street enhanced the experience, attracting over 32,000 visitors with nearly 50 pop-up bars. A highlight was the Bee’s Knees bar by Nikka Whisky, showcasing Japan’s iconic bar scene. Additionally, the “Accords Parfaits” space featured chefs serving unique food pairings.

The French Drinks expanded from 2 categories in 2024 to 13 in 2025, highlighting the evolution of French spirits with 425 products represented. The opening of the Pavillon France showcased 57 French producers, further enhancing the event’s profile.

Visitors enjoyed exclusive happenings, including the world launch of Stade’s Rum and a preview of the world’s oldest single malt. The event featured tastings of over 2,000 products, highlighting brands from Scotland, Ireland, Asia, the U.S., and new discoveries from 57 French houses.

The Rum Gallery showcased 34 distilleries, while the Agave Patio and Gin Lane celebrated their return, featuring leading brands. The Saké District presented 13 prominent Japanese breweries, reflecting the growing interest in saké, underscored by the Saké Master 2025 competition.
