Wilderness Trail, a Kentucky craft distillery, has introduced three permanent single barrel expressions: the Wilderness Trail 6 Year Old Private Barrel High-Rye Bourbon (ABV of 55% and retail price of $70), the Wilderness Trail 6 Year Old Private Barrel Rye (ABV of 52.5% and a retail price of $80), and the Wilderness Trail 6 Year Old Private Barrel Wheated Bourbon (ABV of 55% and retail price of $70).
The wheated bourbon has a mashbill of 64% corn, 24% wheat, and 12% malted barley, while the high-rye bourbon contains 64% corn, 24% wheat, and 12% malted barley, and the rye features 56% rye, 33% corn, and 11% malted barley.
