Lagavulin & Caol Ila Feis Ile 2017

During the Feis Ile 2017 Festival, organised in Islay every year, the distilleries  arrenge special events, tastings and tour. But the main attractions are the new bottlings released during the Festival. Diageo, the company that own both Lagavulin and Caol Ila, as well as Port Ellen Maltings, unveiled the two new products:

• Lagavulin 16, 55,8%: double aging in ex-Moscatel casks and a production of 6.000 pieces;
• Caol Ila (No Age Statement), 56,1%: double aging in ex-Amoroso casks, and a pruduction of di 1.500 pieces.

The two new products will be available in the shop’s distilleries till depletion stocks. There won’t be any worldwide distribution. Price are rispectively £125 and £99.
