Heaven’s Door Spirits announced the second release of their Bootleg Series. The series is a collaboration with legend, and music recording artist, Bob Dylan. Volume II is called “Sunset, Monument Valley,” which is also the title of Dylan’s painting that decorates the bottle.
“After nearly two years of experimentation with different blends and barrel finishes, we have created an incredible whiskey for the Bootleg Series Vol II,” said Ryan Perry, Heaven’s Door master blender. “I was intrigued by the idea of using Jamaican pot still rum casks to imbue the 15-year-old cask strength whiskey with a soft, round and lasting finish that is distinctive and complex.”
Volume II features a 15-year-old Tennessee whiskey. The whiskey is finished in former Jamaican pot still rum casks. Bottled at a cask strength of 104.6 proof. Production total of less than 3,000 750-ml bottles. Series II will have a MSRP of $499.99. Available early November 2020.
