Since its launch in 2004, Whisky Live Paris has been the premier event of the year for enthusiasts, industry professionals, and anyone eager to learn more about spirits. In 2024, the three-day event attracted over 22,500 visitors to La Grande Halle de la Villette, where they had the opportunity to taste the latest releases and meet notable figures from the spirits world. Spanning over 16,000 m², the 2025 event will showcase an exceptional selection of spirits from across the globe, featuring new tasting spaces, immersive experiences, and original masterclasses. This edition promises to be a unifying and forward-looking highlight of the international spirits scene.
The Highlight of the 21st Edition is the launch of the French Drinks Awards 2026, a new contest celebrating the richness and expertise of French spirits.
The French Drinks Awards are making their debut at the World Drinks Awards. This inaugural edition, which aims to become an annual event, will feature a significantly larger number of categories than in 2024, when only two categories (whisky and gin) were recognized. This year, nine categories will be highlighted: absinthe, armagnac, calvados, cognac, gin, liqueurs, rum, vodka, and whisky. Entries can be submitted until June 30 via the World Drinks Awards website. The spirits will be evaluated in blind tastings by an independent panel of French experts. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, September 26, at the Boris Vian Amphitheatre in La Grande Halle de la Villette.
The 2025 edition will also introduce Golden Promise Week, an exclusive tasting experience at a renowned destination. From September 25 to October 2, the Whisky Live Paris experience will extend to Paris’ famous Golden Promise Whisky Bar. During this week, a special Collectors menu will be offered, featuring over 1,000 rare and antique spirits available by the glass, with exceptional benefits including discounts of up to 50%.
From Scottish single malts to Japanese and American whiskies, exceptional pure malts, vintage blends, and collectible rums, the Golden Promise Week Pass will allow privileged access to one of Paris’ most iconic whisky destinations, located at 11 Rue Tiquetonne.
