Old Forester has launched the fourth annual King Ranch Edition, a limited-release whiskey with an ABV of 52.5% and an MSRP of $70, available exclusively in Texas. This edition is matured in heavily charred barrels and filtered through mesquite charcoal from King Ranch, celebrating its legacy as Texas’s largest ranch.
The revamped label features Peppy San Badger, a legendary King Ranch Quarter Horse. Established in 1853 by Captain Richard King, the ranch has produced three Kentucky Derby winners and operates as a multi-state agribusiness. The whiskey honors the legacy of two multigenerational family businesses.
