An aged, small-batch straight bourbon drawn from carefully selected barrels resting for thirteen years. Bottled in Brooklyn without chill-filtration, it highlights the mature character of long-finished bourbon.
The nose opens with butterscotch, vanilla bean, and warm baking spices, followed by seasoned oak. The palate is velvety, showcasing dark caramel, maple sugar, toasted oak, pecan nuts, and a touch of tangerine peel, with a peppery warmth. The finish lingers with layered sweetness, cedarwood, and vanilla. A bold yet balanced mature bourbon that rewards slow sipping.
93Among the whiskies tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
