A Bottled-in-Bond Wheated Bourbon aged a minimum of four years in new American oak, this distillery-crafted mash bill offers a soft yet robust profile.
The nose opens with warm cornbread, vanilla, honeyed grain, and cinnamon-dusted apple; the palate is round and silky, revealing caramel, wheat bread, baked pear, and mellow spice with well-integrated oak; the finish is clean and gently warming with lingering vanilla, toasted grain, and light baking spice, resulting in a welcoming, smooth, and quietly refined bourbon full of character and balance.
90Among the whiskies tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
