Chattanooga’s latest Experimental Batches release is a unique straight malt whiskey, inspired by traditional Irish single pot stills.
It features a mashbill of UK floor-malted barley, Tennessee’s Calypso unmalted barley, pale malted barley, and North Carolina’s hulless Streaker oats. Distilled twice in a 100-gallon pot still and aged for at least 4 years in new toasted and charred barrels, it has an ABV of 47.5% and a retail price of $60, available at the distillery and online.
