Frey Ranch’s bourbon has reached a milestone at 10 years old, marking its oldest whiskey release to date. Produced on the 2,500-acre farm in Fallon, Nevada, it features a four-grain mashbill of 66.6% corn, 11.4% Canadian winter rye, 10% soft winter wheat, and 12% two-row malted barley. Distillation took place between January 2015 and April 2016, aging in char no. 4 barrels with char no. 3 heads.
The first batch will be available at the tasting room, starting with an online lottery for 500 bottles from June 15th at 10 a.m. PST to June 22nd at midnight. Winners will be announced on June 23rd.
It has an ABV of 51%, a suggested retail price of $99 per bottle, and will be available through an online lottery and at the Frey Ranch tasting room.
