Koopers Whiskey has introduced a new bourbon for Father’s Day, sourced from Indiana with a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley.
Aged a total of 8 years, 2 years before moving to Texas for 6 additional years, it underwent finishing with Brazilian amburana staves for 7 weeks and Japanese mizunara oak staves for 12 weeks. Only 378 bottles were produced from two barrels.
This bourbon has an ABV of 57%, a suggested retail price of $84 per bottle, and is now available online.
