Sailor’s Home Journey is a sourced, triple-distilled Irish whiskey that features a unique triple cask maturation: first in virgin American oak, then in bourbon barrels, and finally finished in Jamaican rum casks for 6 months. Part of the Explorer Series, it combines Irish grain and malt whiskey.
Named after the historic Sailors’ Home in Limerick (established in 1856), the recipe is crafted by Dr. Jack Ó’Sé, an experienced Irish whiskey maker.
The whiskey has an ABV of 43% and is priced at $35. It is available in Arkansas, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York, and is imported by Park Street Imports.
