Four Roses Experimental Series Honey Cask

Four Roses has launched the second installment of its Experimental Series, a honey cask-finished bourbon. This release blends 6, 7, and 8-year-old bourbons, aged for 3 to 9 months in barrels previously used for Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey made in partnership with Bohman Bee Company.

It’s the second cask-finished bourbon in Four Roses’ history, following the Mizunara Cask Finish. The bourbon combines two of Four Roses’ recipes: OESQ (lower-rye) and OBSK (high-rye).

This bourbon has an ABV of 52%, a suggested retail price of $55 for a 375ml bottle, and is available exclusively at the distillery.
