This year’s Ardbeg Day, taking place on May 30 during the Fèis Ìle festival on Islay, will showcase Ardbeg Dolce. This limited-edition whisky, matured in Marsala Dolce casks, embodies a delightful blend of Sicilian sweetness and Islay peat.
Ardbeg Dolce features a unique combination of rare malt from Marsala Dolce casks and classic Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks. The Dolce is bottled at an ABV of 47.8%.
On Ardbeg Day, the distillery and events worldwide will celebrate this fusion of flavors, inviting attendees to enjoy Italian delicacies with an Islay twist. Gillian Macdonald, Master Blender, notes that Ardbeg Dolce is best savored in any setting, Sicilian patios to rainy Scottish islands.
The Ardbeg Dolce has a suggested retail price of £85 per bottle, and will be available starting May 30.
