This special bottle is the unique blend of an agricole rhum and a molasses rum aged for 15 years in old cognac casks.
The nose is fresh and fruity with minty and sweetie nuances, allspice and waxy wood, candied sugarcane, walnuts, and cloves. In the mouth it is creamy and nutty, more tannic than sweet, slightly oxidized, old stone fruit, cinnamon, raisin, ripe sugarcane, and a mineral vein. Long finish with roasted spices, macadamia nuts, strong coffee, and bitter chocolate. Flavorful and complex, this blend shows all the potential of an unthinkable marriage.
95Among the rums tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
