The nose is fresh. Mineral vesou, herbal, petrichor, marine breeze, elegant varnish, and a warmer undertone of candied citrus. In the mouth it is explosive, but when the pepper fades off, it develops plenty of mineral flavors, ginger, citrus zest, orange essential oil, edible flowers, and a soothing overripe cane. The finish is quite long and very warm, eucalyptus, salmiak licorice, infused herbs, black radish.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS MADE

Among the rums tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.

This list will be published in detail in CigarsLover Magazine issue #5 .
