This Bourbon County Stout Finish was made in collaboration between Bardstown Bourbon Co., renowned for its innovative approach to whiskey blending and aging, and Goose Island, the iconic Chicago-based brewery.
A Stout is a craft beer known for its bold and intricate flavor profile. Beginning with a blend of 6 & 7 year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, the blend was further aged in freshly-dumped Goose Island Bourbon County Stout barrels. Bardstown Bourbon Co finished the blend by adding a 9 year-old Kentucky straight bourbon.
A total of 3.500 9L cases were made. It’s bottled at 100 proof (50%) and is already available. The suggested retail price is $159.99.
