Elements of Islay is a range of small batch whiskies, sought after by independent bottlers from distilleries on the Isle of Islay. Their basic line consists of three different finishings: Cask Edit, Sherry Cask, Bourbon Cask.
Cask Edit is obtained from a blend of single malt whiskeys aged in bourbon and sherry casks. The distillate thus obtained is then bottled at 46% alcohol, without any color adjustment or cold filtration.
The suggested price of $65.
Sherry Cask is obtained from a blend of single malt whiskeys aged in first and second fill sherry butts. It is then bottled at 54.5% alcohol, without any color adjustment or cold filtration.
The MSRP for this edition is $100.
Also for the Bourbon Cask we start from a blend of single malts from the island of Islay, aged in first-fill and refill bourbon barrels. Subsequently it is bottled at 54.5% alcohol, without color correction or cold filtration.
The MSRP for the Bourbon Cask version is $90.
All three products will be available in the US starting this month.
